The Middle Earth Snow Series is coming back to the O Park for the 2^nd and last time this season.  Also, this is one of the last events of the series, and could mean the difference between making it to National Championship at Copper Mountain, Colorado or staying home this Spring.

Boardercross: Saturday, Feb 27th registration @ 9:00 – 10:30 am; course inspection 10-11:00 am; Riders Meeting 11:15 am at finish line; Race begins no later than 11:45 AM. 3 runs cumulative points or brackets for more than 4 riders per age group. AWARDS will follow IMMEDIATELY after final runs at bottom of course under the Pac SUN tent -weather permitting!

Halfpipe: Saturday, Feb 27th registration @ 9:00-10:30 am & Late Reg. 1:30-2pm

Pipe practice: Open Practice All Day-Open to Resort Members and MESS riders
Riders Meeting 2:30 pm; Comp. begins at 3:00; 2 runs each-1 best run counts; We will run 1 or 2 heats depending on participant numbers.

Saturday SBX will run 10-2:00pm; Halfpipe will run 2:30-5:00pm All heats will be according to age division; Pipe Awards will follow 30 minutes after the completion pipe event in the Sitzmark Grill!

Attention! National Olympic Snowboard Teams return to the O Park after the 2010 Winter Olympic Games!

If you happened to miss the 14 National Olympic Snowboard Teams who came to the O Park to train for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver… don’t sweat it!  You’ll still have a chance to meet and ride alongside your favorite snowboarders as they return to the O Park this winter.  In fact, select teams said they had so much fun that they will be coming back to the Otsego Club immediately after the Winter Olympics.  Moreover, many of them will be using the O Park’s 22’ halfpipe to train for the upcoming US Open Snowboarding Championships at Stratton Mountain Resort in Vermont.  Stay tuned for further details.

The 4th Annual Mighty Midwest Snowboard Camp Tour will be dropping by the Otsego Club on January 16-17, 2010. Headed by pro snowboarder, and all-around nice guy, Pat Milbery will be coaching the camp alongside a handful of professional coaches as they teach you how to improve your snowboard skills, and more importantly have an awesomely fun time! Photos and a video recap of the camp will be captured throughout the camp, as well as footage for his new TV SHOW “The Adventures of SO-GNAR” on the RSN Network!
